August 28, Fineko/abc.az. In January–June 2025, the STAR Oil Refinery (OR), an asset of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Turkey, produced 3,345,694 tons of diesel fuel, which is 217,984 tons or 6.97% more compared to the first half of 2024. According to ABC.AZ, citing Report, this was stated in the data of the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).

In June this year, the STAR refinery produced more than 527,978 tons of diesel fuel, which is 209,113 tons or 65.6% more compared to June 2024. Overall, in January–June this year, oil refineries in Turkey produced about 8,378,739 tons of diesel fuel, including 1,403,874 tons in June. This is 407,087 tons (5.1%) and 143,715 tons (11.4%) more, respectively, compared to the same period last year.
