August 25, Fineko/abc.az. Visa procedures have been simplified for foreigners and stateless persons arriving in the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with the upcoming 2025 Formula 1 competition in Baku. According to ABC.AZ, President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree in this regard.

According to the document, foreigners and stateless persons arriving in Azerbaijan for Formula 1 can obtain visas at the international airports of Azerbaijan from August 25 to September 30 this year. One of the following documents will serve as a basis for issuing a visa:

▪️ Accreditation card confirming accreditation under the rules of Formula One Management Limited and the International Automobile Federation, or another document confirming accreditation;
▪️ Accreditation card confirming accreditation with the Baku City Circuit operating company;
▪️ Ticket, including e-ticket, for Formula 1 competitions or a document confirming ticket purchase.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan must inform Formula One Management Limited, the International Automobile Federation, and relevant foreign authorities about the simplification of visa procedures, ensure that information about obtaining e-visas through the ASAN Visa system is published on the Ministry’s online resources, as well as on the websites of Azerbaijani embassies and consulates abroad.

It should be noted that the Azerbaijan Grand Prix of Formula 1 will be held from September 19 to 21.
