August 21, Fineko/abc.az. In January–July of this year, 459.7 million tons of crude oil and petroleum products derived from bituminous materials were exported from Azerbaijan to the United Kingdom, amounting to $212.8 million.

According to ABC.AZ, this was reported by the State Customs Committee.

The report notes that this figure is $178.1 million (45.6%) lower in value terms compared to the same period of 2024, but 190.4 million tons (29.3%) higher in volume terms.

Thus, in the first half of last year, 650.1 million tons of crude oil and petroleum products derived from bituminous materials were exported from Azerbaijan to the United Kingdom, totaling $390.9 million.

In January–July of this year, Azerbaijan conducted foreign trade operations with other countries amounting to $28.8418 billion — an increase of 7.25% compared to the same period last year.

Exports accounted for $15.2 billion of the foreign trade turnover, while imports amounted to $13.6 billion. On a year-on-year basis, exports fell by 5.4%, whereas imports rose by 26.1%.

As a result, foreign trade posted a positive balance of $1.6 billion, which is a 3.3-fold decrease compared to the corresponding period last year.
