July 25, Fineko/abc.az. The net profit of Eni (Italy) in the 2nd quarter of 2025 declined by 25% versus Q2 of 2024, ABC.AZ informs, referring to company's press service.

For the period from April to June, adjusted net profit reached 1.13 billion euros (nearly $1.33 billion), compared with 1.52 billion euros a year earlier. The main factors contributing to the decline were falling oil prices and the weakening of the US dollar, which offset higher-than-expected results from Eni's gas business. But the result was higher than analysts' forecast, which was 0.93 billion euros.
