Hotel revenues increased by 9.2% compared with Jan-Jun 2024

July 25, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jun 2025, the number of nights spent in hotels and hotel-type facilities grew by 6.4% against Jan-Jun 2024 up to 1.97 million.

ABC.AZ reports that 80.8% of overnight stays conducted by foreigners and stateless persons were registered in Baku, 7.2% in Gusar, 4.1% in Naftalan, 3.2% in Gabala, 2.1% in Guba, 0.5% in Shemakha and 2.1% in hotels in other cities and districts of Azerbaijan.

The number of overnight stays spent by citizens of Azerbaijan in hotels increased by 0.9% versus Jan-Jun 2024 up to 778,100 (39.5% of the total number of nights).

Over Jan-Jun 2025, revenues from hotels and hotel-type facilities grew by 9.2% against Jan-Jun 2024 up to 290.0 million manats (60.4% accounted for room services, 27.5% for catering services, 3.2% for treatment and healthcare services, and 8.9% for other services).

Over Jan-Jun 2025, the level of use of one-time capacity of hotel (hotel) and hotel-type facilities in the country made up 21.4% (for Jan-Jun 2024 - 21.1%). This figure is 51.5% in Shabran, 40.2% in Naftalan, 34.1% in Baku, 31.6% in Gusar, 27.4% in Sabirabad, 22.1% in Gabala, 19.5% in Barda, 17.9% in Lenkoran, 17.4% in Shamakhi, 17.1% in Guba, 16.3% in Bilasuvar, Beylagan 16.0%, in Agstafa - 15.8%, in other cities and districts - below 15.8%.
