Gas supply from Russia to Armenia is halted temporarily

July 24, Fineko/abc.az. Since July 24, Russian gas supply to Armenia has been temporarily suspended because of emergency recovery operations in Georgia, ABC.AZ informs, referring to Gazprom Armenia.

"Due to the need for emergency recovery work on Kazakh-Saguramo section of transit gas pipeline North Caucasus- Transcaucasus in Georgia, natural gas supply to Armenia will be temporarily suspended from 07:00 on July 24 to 19:00 on July 26," the press release says.

According to the company, "during the specified period, uninterrupted and reliable gas supply to consumers of the republic will be carried out without restrictions at the expense of internal reserves and additional volumes of natural gas supplies from Iran".
