China increases oil imports: Saudi Arabia and Malaysia are in the lead, U.S. is out of the game

July 21, Fineko/abc.az. After the spring decline, Saudi Arabia restored oil exports to China in June to 1.92 million barrels per day, which is 15.9% higher than last year's level.

ABC.AZ informs that Malaysia also increased supplies to 1.72 million b/d, 20% higher than a year ago.

Russia remains the largest supplier with volume of 2.03 million bpd, despite a slight annual decrease (-0.9%).

Iraq maintained stable volumes of 1.26 million b/d, Brazil and Oman reduced supplies, and the UAE increased them by 27.2% compared to May.

The U.S. did not supply oil to China in June, as exports were reset amid the ongoing trade conflict.

Total oil imports to China reached 12.14 million bpd, the highest since August 2023. In monetary terms, purchases reached $24.2 billion.
