July 2, Fineko/abc.az. In the UAE, a new city will appear in the middle of the Arabian Desert - Khalid Bin Sultan City. It will be located east of Sharjah International Airport and next to the award-winning headquarters of ZHA Beeah.

ABC.AZ reports that although the size of its population and the completion date have not yet been specified, it is known that the design was entrusted to architectural bureau Zaha Hadid Architects.

The development is based on a 2 km shaded linear oasis that stretches across the entire city. The authors of the project note that this innovative approach solves the problems of living in the desert, while simultaneously setting a new standard for sustainable development in the Persian Gulf region.
