June 5, Fineko/abc.az. Since the beginning of development and until April 1, 2025, 181.2 million tons of oil have been produced at oilfield Neft Dashlari (Oil Rocks) located in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea.

ABC.AZ reports, citing SOCAR data, that production of associated gas totaled 14.2 bcm during the reported term.

According to the data, 1,983 wells were drilled at the field, and 430 of them are in the production well stock.

On November 7, 1949, the first well was drilled at Neft Dashalri (with daily production of 100 tons), which laid the foundation for offshore oil production in world history.
