June 2, Fineko/abc.az. Poland will help Ukraine with gas supplies by increasing volumes.

Polish company Orlen and Naftogaz signed a memorandum of understanding in the field of exploration and production of hydrocarbons, field development, strengthening cross-border relations and commercial ties.

ABC.AZ informs that among the stated goals are joint projects in the oil and gas industry.

Orlen can help Ukraine modernize the Kremenchug oil refinery and rebuild the gas infrastructure.

The companies also plan to implement joint projects in the field of biofuels segment development.

Earlier, Orlen and Naftogaz had already signed three contracts for the supply of 300 million cu m of American LNG to Ukraine.
