May 23, Fineko/abc.az. The rules for the placement of investment securities are being amended.
ABC.AZ reports that the relevant provision is reflected in the draft amendments to the Law on the Securities Market, included in the agenda of the parliamentary meeting held on May 23.
According to the amendments, when establishing joint-stock companies, all shares of which belong to the state, the Central Bank carries out state registration of the issue of shares of these companies without applying the provisions of Chapter 2 of this Law (with the exception of providing the documents specified in Articles 6.3.1 and 6.3.3), and such shares are considered outstanding.
According to the amendments, this provision does not apply to subsequent issues of shares of these joint-stock companies (except in cases when shares are acquired by state bodies (structures) or joint-stock companies, all shares of which belong to the state).
In cases where shares are acquired by state bodies (structures) or joint-stock companies, all shares of which belong to the state, the issue of shares is subject to state registration on the basis of submission of documents provided for in Articles 6.3.1, 6.3.2 (with the exception of information specified in Articles 4.3.6, 4.3.7 and 4.3.8-1 of this Law) and 6.3.3, and such shares they are considered posted.
