April 15, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank has released a list of systemically important banks operating in the country.

ABC.AZ reports that among them are International Bank of Azerbaijan (ABB), Bank Respublika, Kapital Bank, PASHA Bank and UniBank.

The Central Bank, in accordance with the legislation, determines the criteria of systemically important banks and, based on these criteria, systemically important banks. The concept of a bank of systemic importance and related requirements were introduced into the banking legislation of our country in 2017. In 2019, the first version of the criteria was approved and identification of systemically important banks began. Systemically important banks determine the dynamics of the entire financial sector.
