April 1, Fineko/abc.az. The fortune of Russia's richest businessmen has increased by $11,572 million since the beginning of 2025.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index published by Bloomberg that early 2025, Alisher Usmanov, a shareholder of Metalloinvest, Russia's largest iron ore producer, has earned $3.91 billion, his fortune amounted to $17.1 billion, and the fortune of Russian Senator Suleiman Kerimov increased by $2.3 billion, to $9.34 billion.

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, which, in particular, is calculated based on the value of companies' shares, Vladimir Lisin, chairman of the board of directors of international steel company NLMK, suffered the greatest losses - his fortune decreased by $2.38 billion, to $23.4 billion.

Since March 2012, the agency has been publishing the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, which includes information about the wealth of the 500 richest people on the planet.
