March 10, Fineko/abc.az. The regional rating of the number of POS-terminals operating in Azerbaijan as of February 1, 2025 has been published.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the Central Bank that during this period there were 121,873 POS-terminals in the country.

Of them, 74,133 accounted for the Baku Economic Region.

The number of POS-terminals in the Absheron-Khizi economic Region was 8,319, the Ganja-Dashkesan economic region 5,599, and the Shaki-Zagatala Economic Region 4,399.

The region with the largest number of ATMs was the East Zangezur Economic Region (128 POS-terminals). Following this, the number of POS-terminals in the Nagorny Shirvan Economic Region amounted to 1,692.
