March 6, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan begins exporting table eggs to the U.S, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Association of Poultry Meat and Egg Producers & Exporters of Azerbaijan.
It was noted that since last year, there has been shortage of eggs in the U.S. and rising prices due to the spread of avian flu. The U.S. government has allowed the import of eggs from foreign countries to prevent this process.
Gilezi Gushchulug (Giləzi Quşçuluq), one of the largest poultry farms in Azerbaijan, has successfully passed certification in accordance with US standards and received permission to export table eggs to this country.Starting this month, the company begins regular egg exports to the U.S.
The start of exports to the U.S. will not affect the supply of eggs and prices in Azerbaijan.
