March 3, Fineko/abc.az. There is an increase in demand for consumer loans in Azerbaijan, in particular, for credit cards.

ABC.AZ reports that according to CBA’s survey on lending and sources of financing, the main cause of this growth is widespread digitalization.

Although banks do not expect significant changes in demand for consumer loans and credit cards in the near future, the quality of the consumer loan portfolio, the capital position and the solvency of the population have led to tightening of credit standards.

Nevertheless, it is predicted that growth dynamics of consumer loans from banks will continue in the next quarter.
