February 20, Fineko/abc.az. Clothes for 6.8 million manats were produced in Azerbaijan in January 2025 (43.3% less versus January 2024).
ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that our country produced output for 57.6 million manats in the textile industry, clothing, leather and leather products, and shoes. Growth in the textile industry made up 39.2% versus January 2024, and 12.2% in the production of leather and leather products and shoes.
Over January 2025, production of outerwear in Azerbaijan reached 77,300 pieces (2-fold more than 1 year ago), production of socks - 111,200 pairs (44.6% less), production of industrial and professional sets of cotton or chemical fibers for men and boys - 134,600 pieces (57.4% less).
