January 24, Fineko/abc.az. The State Tax Service of Azerbaijan has created a special platform for online payment of taxes and has started registration of non-residents engaged in e-commerce.
ABC.AZ informs that STS head, president of the Intra-European Organization of Tax Administrations (IOTA) Orhan Nazarli said this at a meeting with Niall Coady, chairman of the Irish Revenue Authority, via videoconference.
Orhan Nazarli spoke about the innovations applied by the Azerbaijan Tax Service and the possibilities of Internet Tax Management.
He stressed that the Tax Service has created a special platform in this department and has started registration of non-residents engaged in e-commerce.
The parties also discussed strategic opportunities for expanding bilateral cooperation, promoting ties in the tax sphere and strengthening international relations. They touched upon the issues of diversification of joint activities between administrations within the IOTA.
