December 23, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Oct 2024, the State Service for Antimonopoly & Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy reviewed 153 appeals on the permissibility of restricting competition by abusing a dominant market position and relatively high market power, which is 3-fold more against Jan-Oct 2023.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Service, that 89 of them are provided.

In addition, 72 applications for economic discrimination operations were reviewed during the relevant period (3-fold more than 1 year ago). Of the reviewed applications, 40 were satisfied. The number of other reviewed applications for monitoring compliance with competition law was 52, and 32 of them were satisfied.
