 November 25, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Oct 2024, Azerbaijan exported 8,942 tons of tobacco and its industrial substitutes for $49.3 million to foreign countries.

ABC.AZ reports that tobacco exports grew in value by $38.386 million, or 4.5-fold against the 2023 same term, and in quantitative terms by 6,294 tons, or 3.4-fold.

And in 10 months of 2023, the country exported 2,648 tons of tobacco for $10.947 million.

The average export price of 1 kg of tobacco for the past 10 months of 2024 reached 9.38 manats, which means a decrease of 2.35 manats (33.5%) versus Jan-Oct 2023 - 7.03 manats.
