November 18, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Sept 2024, trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Germany excedeed $1.1 billion. Thus, Germany has become Azerbaijan's 6th main trading partner.

ABC.AZ reports that AZPROMO executive director Yusif Abdullayev said this at the German-Azerbaijani high-level business dialogue on the theme "Green Transformation", organized within COP29.

He added that as of October 1, 191 German companies were active in Azerbaijan.

"From 1995 to June 2024, Germany’s investments in Azerbaijan exceeded $871 million and 94% of those investments were in the non-oil sector.

In turn, Azerbaijan has also invested significantly in Germany, and the total volume of those investments reached $592 million," he emphasized.
