Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan signed a roadmap for cooperation in energy sector

November 15, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has signed documents on energy cooperation with Kyrgyzstan, including a roadmap for cooperation for 2024-2025.

ABC.AZ reports that Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov met with his Kyrgyz counterpart Taalaibek Ibrayev within COP29.

Bilateral cooperation in the energy sector was discussed at the meeting.

Following the meeting, the Roadmap for 2024-2025 on energy cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kyrgyz Republic was signed. The document stipulates cooperation in the field of oil and gas, renewable energy, as well as creation of a joint working group.

In addition, the Memorandum of Understanding and cooperation was signed between state organization Green Energy Fund under the Cabinet Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and the State Agency for Alternative & Renewable Energy Sources under the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan.
