October 22, Fineko/abc.az. The interaction of the BRICS member countries will lead to the end of the unipolar world and the era of American totalitarianism.

ABC.AZ reports that the statement was made by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian before flying to Kazan for the unification summit.

"The heads of state who will take part in this summit will present their views on BRICS, this trip may overshadow the American unipolar world. BRICS is the way out of American totalitarianism," he said.

"The trip is being held at the invitation of dear Russian President Mr. Vladimir Putin and represents a meeting of the [leaders] of the BRICS member countries who are striving to build a multipolar world," he added.

According to Peseshkian, cooperation in BRICS is necessary for "unity and cohesion", as well as to reduce dependence on the U.S. and the American dollar.

"We plan to reach good agreements in the fields of energy, industry, trade and tourism [at the summit]," Peseshkian said.

The head of the Iranian executive power announced that he intends to hold talks with the President of the Russian Federation, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
