October 21, Fineko/abc.az. Oil production has begun in Kyrgyzstan at the Severny Sokh and Chongara-Galcha fields, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Ministry of Energy of the country.

By the end of this year, 20 wells are to be launched at the facility.

In addition, the Ministry noted that the construction of an oil refinery with capacity of 500 tons per day is being completed in Kadamzhai district of Batken region. With the start of oil production and refining, 350-400 jobs will be created. The total investment is $90 million.
