October 18, Fineko/abc.az. The former head of Ukrenergo, Vladimir Kudritsky, said that the Ukrainian authorities should have started decentralizing the power grid last year, then they would not have had to frantically try to ensure electricity supplies now.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the New York Times, that earlier, Zelensky said that all Ukrainian thermal power plants and a significant part of Ukraine's hydropower capacities have already been destroyed. At that, newspaper Financial Times wrote that Ukrainian officials criticized Energy Minister German Galushchenko for insufficient measures to combat the energy crisis.

According to officials, Galushchenko advocates the construction of large and expensive nuclear reactors, which takes several years. At that, measures for construction of small power plants began only this year.
