October 18, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijan Institute of Standardization, subordinate to the State Agency for Antimonopoly & Consumer Market Control, adopted new state standard AZS 962:2024 "Green business management systems".

ABC.AZ was informed at the Azerbaijan Institute of Standardization that the new state standard includes features of minimizing the negative impact of enterprises and organizations on the environment, efficient use of resources and environmental responsibility.

In addition, the relevant standard will encourage the implementation of such basic principles as environmental financial management, sustainable supply chain, environmental sustainability and environmental innovation into the management systems of organizations.
