October 15, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover for Jan-Aug 2024 totaled $30.212 bn.
ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that $17.448 bn, or 57.8% of trade turnover, was the value of products exported from the country, and $12.763 bn (42.2%) was the value of imported products, resulting in positive balance of $4.684 bn.
Compared with Jan-Aug 2023, foreign trade turnover declined by 2.3% in actual prices and by 5.2% in real terms, including imports by 2.2% and exports by 7.0%.
