October 15, Fineko/abc.az. Graphics processor manufacturer Nvidia Corp. occupies the 2nd place in the list of the largest companies in the world by capitalization, overtaking Microsoft Corp.

ABC.AZ reports that Nvidia shares rose by 2.4% on Monday, and their price increaesd above $138 per paper for the first time.

According to MarketWatch, Nvidia's market value has reached $3.31 trillion, while Microsoft's capitalization is $3.12 trillion. Apple Inc. has capitalization of $3.52 trillion.

Since the beginning of the year, Nvidia's stock prices have grown 2.8-fold due to the popularity of artificial intelligence technologies and high sales expectations on new Blackwell chips.
