As part of the control measures, a study was conducted of a batch of biologically active food product (with the date of production and expiration date from 6 May 2024 to 6 May 2027, batch number P119) of trademark “Zeolimed, capsule No. 60” manufactured by Gricar Chemical S.r.l, imported by Novator Farma LLC from Italy, with a total of 15,034 pcs. As a result of the study of samples taken by inspectors of the Food Safety Agency (AQTA), it was found in the relevant laboratory of the Institute for Food Safety that the lead content in the product exceeds the norm.
ABC.AZ was informed at AQTA that in this regard, an appropriate decision was made in accordance with the legislation, the batch of products was destroyed.
