September 27, Fineko/abc.az. The capital position of the insurance sector is in the comfort zone, exceeding prudential requirements, ABC.AZ informs, referring to the CBA financial stability report for the 1st half of 2024.

Over Jan-Jun 2024, the total capital of the insurance sector increased by 5% (16 million manats) compared with Jan-Jun 2023 by 318 million manats, the required capital increased by 3% (6 million manats) up to 198 million manats, and the capital buffer increased by 9% (10 million manats) up to 120 million manats.
