July 5, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan sold 700 tons of hazelnuts for $5.309 million to Germany for Jan-May 2024.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee that export figures decreased by $5.208 million (49.5%) and in quantitative terms - by 1,195 tons (2.7-fold).

Over Jan-May 2023, our country exported 1,895 tons of hazelnuts for $10.517 million to Germany.

Thus, the average export price of hazelnuts per kg sold to Germany for Jan-May 2024 amounted to 12.90 manats (an increase of 3.46 manats or 36.7% against Jan-May 2023 - 9.44 manats).
