June 25, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has recorded growth on the premiums and compensation payments on compulsory civil liability insurance of motor vehicle owners.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that for Jan-May 2024, the premiums on this type of insurance amounted to 65.316 million manats (2.37 million manats, or 4% more against Jan-May 2023 – 62.946 million manats).

Over the past 5 months, compensation payments on this type of insurance totaled 51.619 million manats (12.517 million manats or 32% more than a year earlier - 39.1 million manats).
