June 25, Fineko/abc.az. The best-selling smartphones in the first quarter of 2024 have been announced.
ABC.AZ reports that only Apple and Samsung are in Top 10 of the list.
Both brands entered the list with five models and covered 22% of the total smartphone market.
Seven of the 10 smartphones on the list had an average global wholesale selling price of more than $600. This shows that the flagship models are strengthening their market share.
Top 4 in the list were taken by iPhone 15 series. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 14 series accounted for 84% of Apple's sales for Q1 of 2024.
The listed Samsung models accounted for more than a third of the brand's sales in the 1st quarter of 2024. This was made possible by Samsung's presence in various price segments.
Samsung S24 series took 5th place in the list due to the early release of the year and the positive perception of artificial intelligence functions.
