June 7, Fineko/abc.az. The Turkish Competition Organization has launched an investigation into the App Store, Apple's app store, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the country's Competition Organization.

There were suspicions that the App Store imposes certain restrictions on payment systems for software developers.

"Developers are not allowed to inform their in-app users about payment channels outside the app. Because of this ban, consumers' access to better options (lower prices), which they do not know exist, is limited.

Another limitation that Apple imposes on software developers in terms of payment services is that in-app purchases require Apple's own payment system, and transactions related to the sale of digital content in the app must be made through Apple payment."
