May 21, Fineko/abc.az. The premiums for 542.841 million manats were collected through 17 insurance companies of Azerbaijan for Jan-Apr 2024. The figure is 16.1% more versus Jan-Apr 2023, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank. The amount of compensation payments made by insurance companies totaled 209.555 million mantas (55.7% more than a year ago).

Over the past 4 months, 38.6 manats out of every 100 manats of insurance premiums collected on the insurance market were paid. This figure amounted to 26 manats.
