April 4, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan produced 12,200 tons of edible salt for the first 2 months of 2024.

Compared with Jan-Feb 2023, production dropped by 200 tons or 1.2%, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

Over Jan-Feb 2023, the country produced 12,400 tons of edible salt.

The balance of finished products as of March 1, 2024 reached 2,100 tons (1.2 tons or 36.4% less against Jan-Feb 2023).

The balance of finished products as of March 1, 2023 totaled 3,300 tons.
