April 3, Fineko/abc.az. Voluntary insurance premiums and compensation payments observed growth in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that for Jan-Feb 2024 the premiums on this type of insurance amounted to 191.47 million (19.62 million manats, or 11% more against Jan-Feb 2023 – 171.427 million mantas). Compensation payments on this types of insurance totaled 79.8 million mantas (27.232 million manats or 52% more than a year earlier).

Insurance payments were made for 52.59 million manats.

The loss rate for Jan-Feb 2024 was 42% (a rise of 11% against Jan-Feb 2023 - 31%).
