March 29, Fineko/abc.az. The overall premiums of insurance companies in Azerbaijan amounted to 239.718 million manats for Jan-Feb 2024 (8.4% more against Jan-Feb 2023), ABC.AZ informs, referring to the CBA.

Insurers' premiums on voluntary types of insurance reached 191.47 million manats (a rise of 11.4%), or 79.7% of all premiums in the insurance market. Life insurance premiums totaled 87.75 million manats (growth: 25%), and premiums on types of insurance not relating to life insurance – 103.97 million manats (an increase of 2.1%).

The premiums on compulsory insurance reached 48.67 million (a drop of 2%).
