March 29, Fineko/abc.az. The foundation of four new renewable energy plants will be laid within the Green World Solidarity Year.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Ministry of Energy that Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said about this during the next meeting of the Commission established by the relevant Decree of the President of Azerbaijan, "On additional measures related to the implementation of projects in the field of using renewable energy sources".

The meeting participants also discussed work related to projects implemented by Masdar, measures for hydrogen production, as well as the Caspian-EU Green Energy Corridor project and other current issues.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministries of Energy, of  Ecology & Natural Resources, of Economy, of Emergency Situations, of Finance, of Justice, of Agriculture, of Digital Development & Transport, of Defense, SOCAR, Azerenergy, Azerishig, the Central Bank, the State Maritime & Port Agency, the State Committee for Urban Planning & Architecture, the State Agencies for Alternative & Renewable Energy Sources, of Geodesy & Cartography Agencies, of Mine Clearance, Azerbaijan Scientific Research-Design & Survey Institute of Energy, LLC.
