March 14, Fineko/abc.az. For the past 2 months of 2024, consumers who are individuals were returned 29.6 million manats of VAT paid for goods and services purchased from persons engaged in retail trade, catering and medical activity in the country.
ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Tax Service that more than 2.7 million users have been registered on the edvgerial portal to refund part of the VAT paid for purchased goods. Since the launch of the VAT Refund Project until March 1, 2024, 545.2 million manats of VAT have been returned to consumers registered on the portal on more than 1.4 billion cash receipts.
