March 13, Fineko/abc.az. It is expected that the water storage reservoir in Zabukh village of Lachin district will be commissioned by mid-2024.

ABC.AZ reports that Zaur Mikayilov, the chairman of the State Water Resources Agency, said about this at the opening ceremony of international conference Baku Water Week.

"It is planned to restore about 20 channels in Azerbaijan. Currently, restoration work is underway on six of them and will begin soon on two of them, and preparatory work is underway on another 12," he said.

Mikayilov added that a feasibility study of other reservoirs is ongoing in parallel.
