February 15, Fineko/abc.az. The fiscal obligations of the State Tax Service were fulfilled in 2023, tax revenues to the State Budget exceeded 16.1 bn manats.

ABC.AZ reports that Orhan Nazarli, the head of the State Tax Service (under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan), said about this at forum "The tax system at a new stage of development: strategic goals for sustainable economy".

He added that last year tax revenues to the State Budget exceeded the target by 1.1 bn manat:

"Since January 1, 2019, when the tax reform was launched, the number of active taxpayers has increased 1.7-fold."
