February 8, Fineko/abc.az. In 2023, the export of eggs from Azerbaijan amounted to 60 million eggs, and in 2024 country’s export is expected to reach 100 million eggs.

ABC.AZ reports that Murvat Hasanli, the chairman of the Azerbaijan Association of Chicken Meat & Egg Producers & Exporters (APEPEA),  stated about this.

He noted that eggs are currently exported to Russia and the UAE. In addition, there are agreements on supplies to a number of European countries.

Currently about 40,000 people are working on poultry and broiler farms in the country. 4-4.5 million eggs are produced daily in the country, or about 2 billion eggs a year. Some of the products are exported.
