February 6, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan and China discussed the use of eco- friendly transport in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan that a number of business meetings were held within the visit to China by the delegation led by First Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev.

During the visit, the delegation met with the management of car producer enterprises in China, got acquainted with production activity of the plants. Information about favorable business environment of Azerbaijan and opportunities created for investors was presented at the meetings.

It was noted that improving energy efficiency, renewable energy and development of industries relating to this sector are among the main priorities of the country. There are ample opportunities in Azerbaijan to create specialized enterprises in this field. Representatives of Chinese companies were informed about the measures being implemented in the field of application of "green" technologies and use of eco-friendly transport in the country, it was emphasized that there are broad prospects for business initiatives, as well as the possibility of creating joint projects.

The issues of sale of Azerbaijani products on e-commerce platform Alibaba were discussed at a meeting with the management of the Alibaba Globalization office.

It is noted that the Azerbaijani delegation also visited the Azerbaijani Trading House in Beijing, where Azerbaijani products were presented and brand Made in Azerbaijan was demonstrated.
