January 30, Fineko/abc.az. The State Service for Property Issues (under the Ministry of Economy) is developing a bill on unauthorized buildings.

ABC.AZ reports that the above-said statement was made by Metin Eynullayev, the head of the State Service for Property Issues.

"In Baku and the surrounding territories, the number of unregistered houses is in the hundreds of thousands, given the scale of the problem, we envisage its phased solution. To radically resolve the issue, a working group was established on the initiative of the Ministry of Economy in the framework of joint activity with relevant governmental agencies to develop appropriate projects. Currently, work is underway on a draft law that will resolve this issue," he said.

Eynullayev also spoke about the inventory carried out in the territories liberated from occupation: "At the first stage, we mainly carried out an inventory of objects of economic importance, social, administrative buildings, at the next stage, work will be conducted on the inventory of the housing stock."
