January 22, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan observed growth on premiums and compensation payments on compulsory civil liability insurance of motor vehicle owners.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that in 2023, the premiums on this type of insurance amounted to 170.9 million ma (57.8 million manats, or 50.1% more versus 2022).

In 2022, this figure reached 113.8 million manats.

In 2023, insurance payments on this type of insurance totaled 97.907 million (7.629 million manats or 8.4% more than a year earlier).

In 2022, insurance payments in the amount of 90.28 million manats were made.
