Over AZN 154 million of VAT returned to consumers in 2023

January 12, Fineko/abc.az. AZN 154.178 million were returned to the population in Azerbaijan as part of the mechanism for refunding part of VAT in 2023, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Tax Service.

The refund of part of the VAT for settlements in retail or catering facilities provides for the return of 5% of VAT for cash payments and 17.5% of VAT for non-cash payments.
