January 10, Fineko/abc.az. Hell Energy (Hungary) will soon begin construction of a plant on production of aluminum cans and their filling on the territory of free economic zone Alat.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the message of the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan.

"Design work is currently underway, after which construction work will begin," the Ministry said.

Azerbaijan Investment Company OJSC and Hell Energy signed an agreement on joint activities on July 10, 2023.

The project, which is estimated to cost $211 million, envisages the construction of a plant for production of aluminum cans and their filling.

The plant will be built in the Alat FEZ (Garadagh district of Baku) and at the first stage involves the production and filling of 415 million cans per year.

At the next stage, the production volume will be increased to 700 million cans per year.

The implementation of the project will create 280 jobs.
