January 8, Fineko/abc.az. Georgia plans to import 3.217 bcm of gas from Azerbaijan in 2024.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stipulated in country's state balance sheet for natural gas.

According to the report, Georgia plans to import 3.217 bn tons of fuel this year. Of them, 200 million cu m will be supplied from Russia.

Georgia's natural gas balance for 2024 is 3.2 bcm, 99.6% of which will be covered by imports.

According to the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan’s gas supplies to Georgia totaled 2.5 bcm for Jan-Nov 2023.
