December 29, Fineko/abc.az. The next issue of the Economic Review of Turkic Countries for 2023 has been presented.
ABC.AZ reports that it is presented in the third issue of the economic review of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications. The current review, covering the main economic indicators for January-September 2023, consists of two sections.
The first section provides an overview of the members of the Organization of Turkic States, describes their aggregate indicators by territory, population, GDP and trade turnover, as well as their share in the world, and compares GDP growth of Turkic countries individually.
A review of the statistics of OTS members showed that, compared with the 2022 same term, in the first three quarters of 2023, the Turkish economy grew by 5.9%, the economy of Azerbaijan by 0.8%, the economy of Uzbekistan by 5.8%, the economy of Kyrgyzstan by 4.2%, and the economy of Kazakhstan by 4.7%.
The second section of the Economic Survey of Turkic Countries comparatively presents the main macroeconomic indicators of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye and Uzbekistan for Jan-Sept 2023. Thus, the best indicator in terms of State Budget growth was recorded in Türkiye - 74.2%. The revenues of the Turkish State Budget amounted to $125.6 billion. Azerbaijan has the largest foreign trade balance (trade balance of $8.363 billion) and Kazakhstan (trade balance of $13.02 billion).
